| Description | Molag Bal has spoken to me, and wishes me to help him corrupt Melus Petilius, by forcing him to kill me with the Cursed Mace. I should travel to Brindle Home and see what I can find. |
Molag Bal Daedric Quest is located in Molag Bal's Shrine, located northeast of Skingrad. You must be at least level 17 to begin this quest.

Obtain a Lion's Pelt
Lion pelts can be acquired by hunting mountain lions, which are found in several areas across Cyrodiil. Some notable spawn points are west of Molag Bal's Shrine, north of Imperial City, and Blackwood.
Alternatively, you can purchase one from Jensine for 150 Gold at Jensine's "Good as New" Merchandise. Located at the Imperial City, Market District.
Corrupt Melus Petilius

| 1 |  Offer a Lion's Pelt to Molag Bal. |
| 2 |  Head to Brindle Home, southwest of the Shrine of Molag Bal. |
| 3 |  Speak to the villagers about Melus Petilius. |
| 4 |  You will then be directed to Melus Petilius' home near Brindle Home. |
| 5 |  Wait until 10am, Melus will visit his wife's grave near his house. |
| 6 |  Defile the grave by dropping the Cursed Mace on top of it. |
| 7 |  Attack Melus Petilius, he will then pick up the Cursed Mace and attack you. Let Melus kill you to corrupt him. |
| 8 |  Once you're killed, you will be transported back to Molag Bal. |
| 9 |  Speak to Molag Bal to end the quest. |
Molag Bal Daedric Quest Rewards
Mace of Molag Bal
As a reward for completing Molag Bal's Daedric Quest, you’ll receive the Mace of Molag Bal. This Daedric Artifact grants Absorb Health on Strike and Absorb Magicka on Strike.

If You Kill Melus Petilius
You can fail the quest if you kill Melus Petilius. or let him kill you without the Cursed Mace. The quest will fail and you will not receive the Mace of Molag Bal.
