Umaril the Unfeathered is located at Garlas Malatar, northwest of Anvil. After completing the Sword of the Crusader and The Blessing of Talos quests, the Prophet will grant you the Blessing of Talos, a spell essential for the upcoming battle. You will then be told to face Umaril at Garlas Malatar.

| 1 | ![]() Head west of Anvil to reach Garlas Malatar, an Ayleid ruin located by the Abecean Sea. |
| 2 | ![]() Once you enter, head straight and defeat the enemies. |
| 3 | ![]() In the first room, locate the block on the altar next to an Ayleid chest. Press it to open a gate leading to the next area. |
| 4 | ![]() The next area will be full of Aurorans, defeat them and head left. |
| 5 | ![]() Proceed through the stone door to Garlas Malatar, Ceysel. Here, press the block on the wall between two gates to raise them, allowing you to continue. |
| 6 | ![]() In the large room ahead, ignore the respawning Aurorans and head to the far side. Find and destroy the Dark Orb to stop the enemies from spawning. |
| 7 | ![]() After destroying the orb, backtrack and press the block near the arched doorway to open a new path. Enter the stone door to Garlas Malatar, Carac Abaran. |
| 8 | ![]() Confront Umaril's Physical Form, Follow the path to a large chamber where Umaril's physical form awaits. Defeat him to progress. |
| 9 | ![]() Before casting the Blessing of Talos, loot Umaril's sword and any other items of interest. Then, cast the spell to transport yourself to a realm where you will face Umaril's spirit. |

| 11 | ![]() In the sky above the Imperial City, engage and defeat Umaril's spirit. Afterward, you'll be teleported back to the Priory of the Nine. |

Once you defeat Umaril in both forms, you can loot Umaril’s Sword, a unique weapon with powerful enchantments. It deals Shock Damage and Damage Fatigue, making it highly effective against both magical and physical foes.

By this point in the final quest of the Knights of the Nine questline, you will have gathered all eight Crusader's Relics, each representing a divine virtue and enhancing your power as the Divine Crusader. With the full set of relics and Umaril’s blade in your possession, you stand as the ultimate champion of the Nine.
