Clavicus Vile Daedric Quest is located in Shrine of Clavicus Vile, which is northeast of Skingrad and southwest of Imperial City. You must be level 20 to begin the quest.

Head to Vindasel and Locate Umbra

| 2 |  Head to Pell's Gate, located southeast of the Chrine of Clavicus Vile and southwest of Imperial City. |
| 3 |  Talk to Irroke the Wide to know the location of Umbra. Note that this step is optional, as you can go directly to Vindasel. |
| 4 |  Head to Vindasel, located southeast of the Shrine of Clavicus Vile and west of Pell's Gate. Enter the ruins and you'll eventually face Umbra. |
Choice: Kill or Spare Umbra

| We fight. | Umbra will become immediately hostile, and killing her allows players to loot her, including her Ebony set. |
| I'll leave in peace. | Umbra will not become hostile, but this choice can potentially leave you without any reward. Note that if you choose this dialogue option and then attack her, you will still be able to loot Umbra. |

Clavicus Vile Daedric Quest Rewards
Umbra: Keep the Cursed Blade
If you choose to keep Umbra, You will retain the cursed sword in your inventory. Having the highest base damage among Longswords, in addition, Umbra's enchantment automatically applies Soul Trap to enemies on hit.
This blade is best for utility and can be used to Recharge Weapons. We strongly recommend keeping Umbra, as it is one of the most powerful weapons in Oblivion Remastered.
Masque of Clavicus Vile: Return the Sword for the Daedric Artifact
As a reward for slaying Umbra and returning her blade to Clavicus Vile, you’ll receive the Masque of Clavicus Vile. This Daedric Artifact is a Heavy Armor that grants Fortify Personality on Self (20pts).
