To Help a Hero is a side quest in the Shivering Isles DLC of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered. Read on for a complete walkthrough of To Help a Hero and its rewards!

To Help a Hero Walkthrough

1 Talk to Pyke in Hale

To start the quest, find Pyke in Hale which is in the northern parts of the Shivering Isles. Pyke can usually be found in Zoe Malene's house.
2 Head to Fetid Grove

Make your way to Fetid Grove, which can be found in the middle of the lake southeast from Hale. It will be marked on your map.
3 Enter the Dungeon

Once you arrive in Fetid Grove, find the entrance to its dungeon within the roots of the big tree marked by some totems. There will be monsters guarding the place.
4 Find the Door to the Encampment

Once inside the dungeon, you'll have to find the door that leads to the encampment. You will find two doors that lead there, take the one to the east since it's closer to the medallion.
5 Retrieve Pyke's Medallion

Pyke's Medallion can be found inside a small chest between some tables in the middle of the room under some wooden pillars. Retrieve it and exit the dungeon.
6 Return to Pyke

Go back to Hale and give Pyke his medallion. He will then reward you with the Thorn Shield for your efforts.
