The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion - How to Claim Deluxe Items

Players who have the Deluxe Edition of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered can grab the Digital Deluxe items through quests that can be completed very early on. Learn how to claim your Deluxe Edition items here!

How to Claim Deluxe Items

Complete the Exclusive Deluxe Edition Quests

Deluxe Set How to Get
Cataclysm Set
(Dagon Themed)
You can begin the questline for this set right after the tutorial. Start with the Burning Trail quest by picking up a Pamphlet in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City.

After finishing this quest, you’ll immediately unlock The Crimson Cave, where you can grab the Cataclysm Set items as a reward at the end.
Order Set
(Akatosh Themed)
You can begin the questline for this set after the main quest: Breaking the Siege of Kvatch. Start by asking NPCs for rumors, and you will eventually hear about a priest in Kvatch worried about disappearances.

Return to Kvatch and speak with Ilav Dralgoner, found at the camp along the road leading up to the city. This starts the A Wound in Time quest.

After this, you will unlock the Saving Time Itself quest, where you can grab the Order Set items as a reward at the end.

Both sets can be grabbed early on in the game, with the Cataclysm Set quests ready to be completed right after exiting the tutorial sewers. The Order Set questline unlocks just a few main quests later, after the events of the Siege of Kvatch.

At the end of either quest, speak to Mehrunes' Harbinger (for the Cataclysm Set) or Ilav Dralgoner (for the Order Set) to claim your equipment rewards. You can obtain unlimited copies of any armor or weapon type. However, note that these items have no market value and cannot be sold for Gold.

The Deluxe Horse Armors can be obtained by speaking to Snak-gra Bura at the Chestnut Handy Stables just west of the Imperial City.

You Can Claim Higher-Level Versions of the Items Later On

Return at any time to Mehrunes' Harbinger or Ilav Dralgoner to claim higher-level versions of the items, as they scale with your character's level when received.
