Rindirs Staffs Apotheosis

Apotheosis is the best staff in the game for pure damage. It unleashes a powerful blast that deals Frost, Fire, and Shock magic at the same time, making it a devastating weapon. Since many enemies only resist one of these elements, the remaining two still inflict significant damage.

The staff can be bought in Rindir's Staffs in the Market District of the Imperial City, from the shopkeeper Rindir. It costs around 3500–7000 Gold, depending on your Mercantile Skill and Disposition level with Rindir.

Mage's Staff of Paralysis (Best Utility Spell)

Arcane University

Paralysis is a powerful spell effect, disabling most enemies. The Mage's Staff of Paralysis is especially valuable, delivering an 8s effect, which is far longer than most casted versions and without the high Magicka cost or Illusion skill requirements. Since it uses its own charges, it lets you save Magicka for other spells.

This staff is one of the chosen rewards in A Mage's Staff, a Mages Guild quest unlocked after completing all Recommendation quests and gaining access to the Arcane University. Among choices like Fire or Dispel, Paralysis offers the most utility and value.
