Everything In Its Place is a side quest in the Shivering Isles expansion in The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered. Learn Everything In Its Place's starting location, rewards, and how to start the quest.

1 Talk to Kishashi
TES IV Oblivion Fellmoor Location
To start the quest, talk to Kishashi in Fellmoor. The Khajiit can be found at the water root pod farm south of the settlement. You will need to earn his trust before Ranarr-Jo will speak with you.
2 Collect 5 Water Root Pod Pits
TES IV Oblivon Water Root Pod Pits
Collect 5 Water Root Pod Pits from the farm. These are mushroom-shaped plants found in the water. Once you have all five, return to Kishashi and he will give you an Old Spoon.
3 Speak with Ranarr-Jo
TES IV Oblivion Ranarr-Jo
Speak with Ranarr-Jo, who is usually near Kishashi. Show him the Old Spoon, and he will agree to talk. Ranarr-Jo will ask you to deal with the farm owner, Cindanwe.
4 Wreck Cindanwe's House
TES IV Oblivion Cindanwe
You can either kill Cindanwe or wreck her house. We recommend wrecking her house instead, as you will be able to obtain Cindanwe's Notebook later and earn an extra reward.

To do this, head to Cindanwe’s House just north of Fellmoor. Lockpick the Easy door to enter.

Once inside, hold a large object and bump it into other items to scatter them around the house. Keep doing this until a quest update appears, confirming the wreckage.
5 Optional: Get Cindanwe's Notebook
TES IV Oblivion Cindanwe
Talk to Cindanwe at the farm. You can either raise her Disposition to 70 or simply pickpocket her to obtain Cindanwe's Notebook.

6 Return to Ranarr-Jo
TES IV Oblivion Return to Ranarr-Jo
After wrecking Cindanwe's House, return to Ranarr-Jo to complete the quest.

If you retrieved Cindanwe's Notebook, give it to him for an additional reward.

TES IV Ring of Mind Shielding

Completing Everything In Its Place will reward you with the Ring of Mind Shielding, an enchanted ring that grants resistance to Magic and Spell.

Random Skill Book

TES IV Oblivion Skill Book

If you obtained Cindanwe’s Notebook and handed it over to Ranarr-Jo, you will also receive a random Skill Book, which grants a 1 point bonus to a related skill.
