Description I've found a strange note in the Imperial City's Talos District. It mentions another note, and speaks about the Lord of the Hunt. I should head towards Hircine's shrine and investigate.

Burning Trail is located in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City. To unlock the quest, look for the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet I on the barrel near the dragon statue.

TES IV Oblivion Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 1 Location Map
Head to the Talos Plaza District in the Imperial City and find the Mythic Dawn Pamphlet I on the barrel near the dragon statue.

Interacting with the pamphlet will start the quest and give you a clue for the second pamphlet’s location.

TES IV Oblivion Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 2 Location Map
Head south to Hircine's Shrine. Look for the wolf statue. The wolf is looking directly at a tree that has Pamphlet 2 on it.

TES IV Oblivion Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 3 Location Map
From Hircine’s Shrine, head northwest to Molag Bal’s Shrine, south of Chorrol and west of the Imperial City. Pamphlet 3 will be on a tree directly east of the statue.

TES IV Oblivion Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 4 Location Map
Travel to Bravil and go the Lucky Old Lady statue in the center. You can find Pamphlet 4 tucked inside the stone barrier around the statue.

TES IV Oblivion Bogrum Gro-Galash
With all four pamphlets found, head to The Lonely Suitor Lodge in the southern part of Bravil. Enter the lodge and speak to Bogrum Gro-Galash, asking about a shy Dunmer. He will then point you to the cook, Ranaline.

TES IV Oblivion Ranaline
Talk to Ranaline and tell her about the Mythic Dawn Notes. You need to pass a Persuasion check with at least 50 points of disposition. This will complete the quest and immediately start the next one, The Crimson Cave.

While not exactly a reward, you will receive a Mythic Dawn Robe and Mythic Dawn Hood to use for the next quest that follows Burning Trail.
