During the quest Bruma Recommendation, you will be asked by Volanaro to prank Jeanne by taking her Manual of Spellcraft in her desk. After taking the book, J'Skar will be revealed in the living quarters.

Some players may encounter J'Skar not appearing even after Volanaro casts the spell to reveal him. The work-around the bug is to load the autosave when you entered the living quarters and ask Volanaro to reveal J'Skar.

Have a Higher Personality

Another bug for this quest is when the Prank dialogue option does not show up when speaking to Volanaro.

the solution is have a high enough Personality attribute by leveling your Speechcraft and Illusion skills, using items that fortify personality or equip armor that enhances personality on self.
