Mace of Molag Bal (Best Base Damage)

Molag Bal Shrine Quest

The Mace of Molag Bal has the highest base damage of all maces and is enchanted to absorb Strength and Magicka from your target on hit. The absorbed attributes are beneficial since Mace damage scales with Strength, and the Magicka is useful for spellcasters as well.

This mace is a quest reward for completing Molag Bal's Daedric Quest that you can start in Molag Bal's Shrine. However, this quest is only available to those at Level 17 or above and requires a Lion Pelt offering.

Rockshatter (High Damaging Enchantment)

Whitmond Rockshatter Quest

Rockshatter is one of the strongest maces for its high base damage and powerful Shock enchantment. Each hit deals 20 Shock Damage and also applies Weakness to Shock, making its magic Shock attacks even more effective.

The Rockshatter mace is obtained during the When the Vow Breaks side quest, which begins by speaking to Maeva the Buxom at Whitmond Farm, north of Anvil. You're tasked with retrieving the mace from bandits. You must return it to Maeva who then keeps it. To grab it for yourself, you'll need to pickpocket her or kill her.
