Battlehorn Castle Location

You can find the Battlehorn Castle west of Chorrol. You can fast travel to Chorrol Castle or other places within it right after leaving the sewers if you want to get the castle as early as possible.

Help the Soldiers at Battlehorn Castle

Battlehorn Castle Quest

Go to the Battlehorn Castle to get a quest that asks you to help the Battlehorn Castle. You must help the Battlehorn Soldiers against the Marauder's Raid to progress.

Head inside the castle afterward and talk to one of the soldiers. He will declare you the new master of the castle during the conversation and ask you to repair and upgrade the castle.

Repair and Upgrade the Castle

Battlehorn Castle Repairs and Upgrades

Head to the Imperial City Market District and go inside the Merchant Inn to see Nilphas Omellian, the merchant that can help you with the repairs and upgrades. Purchase all the Battlehorn Castle items from him to progress.

Return to the Castle to Receive a Letter

Receive a Letter

You can go back to the castle even if the quest marker is still pointing on Nilphas. You can check the fixes and upgrades you purchased from Nilphas while you wait for a soldier to hand over a letter from him.

The letter suggests that you get a Dwemer Forge for the Battlehorn Castle.

Get the Dwemer Forge

Return to the Market District and Merchant Inn to buy the Dwemer Forge from Nilphas. After that, a quest notice will pop-up saying that you've purchased all the available items for the Battlehorn Castle, and that will mark the end of the quest.

Battlehorn Castle Reward

You can become the Master of the Battlehorn Castle after helping the soldiers against the Marauders. You can also repair and upgrade the castle, so you don't have to look for other places to do things outside of exploration or quests, like forging, sleeping, storing items, and more.
