Open the Map and Choose the Area You Want to Fast Travel

You can fast travel to a location of your choosing by opening up the map. From there, select the location icon of the area you want to travel and choose Yes when the game asks if you want to fast travel to that area.

Fast Travel Conditions

Fast Travel Is Only Available to Major Cities and Explored Areas

You can only use the fast travel feature to areas you've already explored and major cities in the game. You will not be able to fast travel to unexplored areas.

Fast Travel is Restricted During Combat

Fast Travel will not be available if the player is engaged in combat or targeted by an enemy in the game.

Fast Travel Is Not Allowed in Some Areas

You also cannot use fast travel in specific areas where a loading screen is required for you to visit. Some of these areas are houses, caves, dungeons, and Oblivion Gates.
