How to Beat Fanghorn

Use Fire Arrows at its Blaze Canisters

Horizon Forbidden West - Fanghorn - Blaze Canister.gif

Trigger a Chain Reaction on a Fanghorn's Blaze Canister so it can't shoot its ranged fire-based attacks at you. Even if you can't trigger a chain reaction explosion, the burning state will still deal damage over time.

Detach its Fire Horns

A Fanghorn's horns is one of its more dangerous components. Though you can destroy it to render its ranged attacks ineffective, we highly recommend detaching it as it can be used to upgrade your equipment.
