Before engaging a Stalker, it is highly recommended that you take out its Stealth Generator first. This is the Stalker's primary asset. Without its ability to go invisible, it's like any other machine. Be sure to take out this component first as it would harder to detect a Stalker in stealth.
These are what Stalkers use to alert other machines of a nearby intruder. Do not trigger these unless you really came in for a fight.
