How to Beat Grimhorn

Place Blast Traps

You can immediately remove Grimhorn's horn by placing Blast Traps near its spawn before you override the network uplink. Removing them will also help you get close to Grimhorn without risking getting fried by its fire attacks from its horn.

Detach Grimhorn Cluster Launchers

Although it will take a little while, you can detach Grimhorn's Cluster Launchers using your bow and use them as a weapon to beat it. It deals explosive damage that can easily stun and kill Grimhorn, including other enemy machines in the area.

Critical Strike

Continuously hitting Grimhorn's components can cause it to get stunned. Use your Focus to mark them and prioritize shooting them to knock down Grimhorn and get a chance to hit it with a Critical Strike.

Get at the Right Distance

Grimhorn's Cluster Launcher can deal huge damage in a large blast area. Fighting Grimhorn at the right distance, not too far but not too close, will cause it to limit using them.
