Description A High Elf Sorceress named Varulae has asked me to retrieve her crystal ball, located in the hold of the ship the Serpent's Wake, which is moored up in Anvil Bay. The crystal ball is in a chest in the ship's hold. I should be careful, however -- the crew have all been slain, and now roam the ship's decks as creatures of undeath.

The Ghost Ship of Anvil is located in the Anvil docks. Speak with Varulae in The Serpent's Wake to start the quest.

2 Retrieve the Crystal Ball
3 Return to Varulae

Enter the Ship's Mid Deck

Enter the Ship

Enter through the door leading to the ship's mid deck which is located on the northeastern part of the shop. There's a spectral sailor patrolling this area and is immune to weapons and can only be defeated with magic.

Take care of the spectral sailor and head down the cargo hold.

Retrieve the Crystal Ball

Enter the Cargo Hold and Retrieve the Crystal Ball
Enter the Cargo Hold and prepare to fight two more Spectral Sailors. Once they're defeated, turn around and loot the treasure chest located on the southern part of the cargo hold to retrieve Varulae's Crystal Ball.

Return to Varulae

Return to Varulae

Make your way back to the ship's decks and return the crystal ball to Valurae. She'll reward you a unique cutlass called Redwave, which also completes the quest.

Completing the quest rewards you with Redwave, a unique enchanted cutlass.
