A Mage's Staff is located in the Arcane University, in the Imperial City. Talk to Raminus Polus to start the quest.

Talk to Raminus Polus
Head to the Arcane University and speak to Raminus Polus. He will let you know that as a newly apprenticed mage, you are given a staff of your choosing from the guild.
He will send you to Wellspring Cave to retrieve special wood for your staff.
Head to Wellspring Cave
Wellspring Cave is northeast of the Arcane University. Teleport to Fort Urasek and head south to the cave.
Go Through the Cave

| 1 |  Discover Zahrasha's body by the entrance and take the Wellspring Cave Key from his body. |
| 2 |  Kill other necromancers roaming around the cave. Defeat Noveni Othran and the two other necromancers to advance. |
| 3 |  Use the key you got at the other end of the cave. |
| 4 |  You will see Eletta getting killed by other necromancers once you enter the other side. Defeat the other necromancers outside |
| 5 |  After defeating them, check Eletta's body and retrieve the wood from the stone chest at the center of the island. |
Go Back to Raminus
Head back to the Arcane University and speak to Raminus. He will direct you to Delmar at the Chironasium for the completion of your staff.
Talk to Delmar
Speak to Delmar and talk to him about what staff you want to make for yourself. Below is a table of what kind of staff you wish to create.

Return After A Full Day
Regardless of what you pick, Delmar will ask you to wait for a full day before claiming your staff.
Players do not have to wait a full 24 hours, simply sleeping or passing time will allow you to retrieve your staff from the cupboard the next day to complete the quest.

Players can customize their own Mage's Staff at the end of the quest with Delmar. Players can choos between 9 staves
