How to Level Up Alchemy Fast
This is a guide to Alchemy, a Magic skill in The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered. Read on to see all the level up effects and unlocks of Alchemy, and learn how to level up Alchemy to 100 quickly and easily!

This is a step-by-step guide to leveling Alchemy efficiently. On top of power leveling Alchemy, you can also farm Gold using this method by selling your spam-crafted potions at a profit.
Make Sure Alchemy is a Major Skill
Before anything else, we'll want to maximize the skill experience gain of your Alchemy Skill. To do so, make sure to pick a class or create a custom class that has Alchemy as a Major Skill. In Oblivion, major skills will start with +20 levels and level up faster than minor skills.
Tip: To optimize your Alchemy skill experience gains even further, you can also opt play as a race that starts with +10 Alchemy (like a Breton) and choose / create a class that has a Magic specialization (so Alchemy levels up quicker).
Grab the Novice Mortar and Pestle in the Tutorial
If you don't want to have to buy the Novice Mortar and Pestle (required to craft potions), make sure to grab it during the tutorial. It can be found on top of a crate in the Natural Caverns area of the sewer (in the section with a Goblin and rat being roasted over a fire).
Obtain Alchemy Materials from Farms
Once you step out of the tutorial, you'll have full access to the land of Cyrodiil. Before you can start earning Alchemy skill XP, you'll first need the ingredients to actually craft potions.
To get an "infinite" amount of alchemy supplies, visit the different farms scattered throughout the map and harvest them for produce. These will serve as your potion ingredients as you spam potion crafting to power level Alchemy.

・Watermelon ・Lettuce ・Tomato ・Blackberry ・Carrot |

Note: Plants in farms can be re-harvested after waiting for a few days. Make sure you fast travel away from the area, wait for 3~4 days, then come back to re-harvest ingredients. It'll be easier to do this step if you have a house with permanent storage.
If you want to break the monotony of revisiting farms over and over again, another easy way to amass ingredients is by simply running around the open world. Provinces like the West Weald will have lots of flowers littering its open fields.
Use the Duplication Glitch if You Want to Save a Lot of Time
Farming for alchemy ingredients will be very dull and tedious. Players who want to max out Alchemy quickly (while still being able to earn achievements) can use the duplication glitch to supply themselves with an infinite amount of crafting materials in one go.
How to Do the Item Duplication Glitch
Spam Craft Any Potion Until Alchemy is Mastered
Once you've amassed enough ingredients, park yourself inside your player home (or in front of a container that can store items) then spam potion crafting until you hit Alchemy 100. With enough ingredients, you'll be able to easily hit each Alchemy skill milestone in no time.

| Restore Fatigue Potion | Grapes + Tomato Commonly found in farms. Both can be harvested en masse in the unmarked farms to the east and west of Skingrad. |
| Restore Health Potion | Lady's Mantle Leaves A lot of these can be found near the entrance of Trumbe (Elven Ruin). They can also be found by simply running around the Gold Coast province (areas around Anvil). |
Note: The higher your level, the more XP you'll need to increase your Alchemy skill. Use money you earn from selling your spam-crafted potions to purchase better ingredients from vendors. Use these to create better potions for more XP.
