How to Get the Legendary Namazu Mount
Loot the Underwater Chest in Okishima
The Legendary Namazu Mount can be looted from a chest inside an underwater cave beneath the island of Okishima. You can find this island in the middle of Lake Biwa in the Omi province.
| 1 |  If you've already visited the island of Okishima in Omi, you can fast travel to the Okishima Overlook or the Okishima Kakurega to start. If you don't have this island discovered, you'll need to head over to Omi and then to the River Boy Hamlet. Secure a fishing boat and paddle on until you reach the island to its north. |

| 2 |  Once on the island, head to its western side and run along the coast until you see a large bonfire next to a shipwrecked boat (this is the same location you visit during the side quest, Missing Ship). |
| 3 |  From this location, dive into the lake and turn around to look at the base of the island. You should see an underwater cave near where you dove. Swim through it to reach a large cavern with an air pocket. |
| 4 |  Gather your breath once you reach the air pocket before diving down again. In this underwater cavern, you should see a non-legendary chest at the very bottom. Loot it to get the Legendary Namazu Mount. |
| 5 | To exit, swim back the way you came. Return to dry land in order to re-enable fast travel. |
Does the Legendary Namazu Mount Have Special Effects?
No Effects Since the Namazu Mount is Purely Cosmetic
Despite being described as semi-aquatic beast, the legendary Namazu Mount has no special effects, functioning similarly to all the other mounts you get in-game. Like regular mounts, the Namazu won't be able to swim in deep water, throwing Naoe or Yasuke off when you reach the deepest waters of lakes or the sea.
How to Equip the Legendary Mount
Select it From the Mounts Menu via the Inventory Screen
From the Inventory Screen, select your Mount slot next to your secondary weapon slot (above the trinket slot). Once the mount menu is open, simply select the Namazu Mount from the list to equip it. Unlike regular mounts, you won't be able to equip a saddle on the Namazu Mount.
