AC Shadows - Is There New Game Plus

Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) will get a New Game Plus (NG+) mode on July 29, 2025 via the Progression Update. Learn what happens after you finish the game and what you can do after the game.

Is There New Game Plus?

New Game Plus Releases on July 29, 2025

New Game Plus (NG+) will become available by July 29, 2025 since it's set to ship alongside the Progression Update for AC Shadows.

Not only will you be able to start a new game with your current levels and gear, you'll also gain access to the following: Max Level Cap Increase, Knowledge Ranks 9 and 10, as well as Forge Level 4 (for even higher gear upgrades).

Free to Continue Playing Your Save After the Main Story

After beating the main story and getting past the credits screen, you will load back into the world. If you don't plan to start an NG+ run, you'll be free to explore the different regions and do any other side content you didn't complete prior to finishing the final quest.

What to Do After Completing the Game

Castle Lookout

After finishing the game, you can aim for 100% completion by tackling all side content, including side quests, Activities, and collecting all Legendary Equipment and Engravings.

It is recommended that you go for 100% completion first before attempting a New Game Plus run since some content and achievements will be locked behind story progression.
