Tried the map post chapter 6 on maddening, no good archers. There's pillars in the centre of the map. If you like gambling, Yunaka can solo farm the reinforcements, yes even on maddening.
Tips, you can reach the Silver Card area Turn 1 by Warp Ragnarok on the mage directly north of the starting position. Be prepare for the Wyvern near by though. Also, the west corridor enemies will travel toward your group, before reinforcements showing up, which is a good thing. After getting Silver Card, you can then Warp Ragnarok back, by eating lunch. Or go east to bring them down south too.
Obstruct came in clutch. Took me 68 turns to finish this chapter on Maddening. I did it at chapter 13.
For people on maddening... BRING AS MANY LONGBOW ARCHERS AND OBSTRUCT+HEAL STAVES AS YOU CAN. And prepare to heal and chain guard for your life. The reinforcements from the south finally end when it's three dragons at once. Obstruct/Longbow the ice dragon in Tiki's room until it's dead and then get everyone to prepare engage attacks and bum rush Tiki during the same turn. (3H gauntlet is quite effective, btw) :)
Are there only 10 or infinite waves? I just quit when the third way showed lol.
On maddening Difficulty, there are like 10 waves of reinforcements of 2 dragons & 2 of each other units Which gave me PTSD cause they freaking ignore def/res. .
