Caught in the Hunt is located in Bravil. Enter Ursanne Loche's house and speak with her to start the quest.
Caught in the Hunt Walkthrough
Speak with Ursanne Loche
Head inside Ursanne Loche's house and speak with her to learn that her husband, Aleron, has been kidnapped and that a loan shark named Kurdan gro-Dragol has taken him captive.
Find Kurdan in The Lonely Suitor Lodge

Find Kurdan in The Lonely Suitor Lodge in Bravil. Make sure to raise his disposition high enough so he will tell you that you must travel to Fort Grief to retrieve an axe in order to release Aleron. He will prepare you a boat to travel to the fort once you agree.
Enter Fort Grief Using Kurdan's Boat
Find the small fort near the bottom of the stairs on the river. Activate the boat to travel to Fort Grief.
Find Aleron Loche Inside the Fort
Once you reach the fort, activate the turn handle on the right to open the gate. Enter inside the for tto find Aleron Loche standing in the middle. He tells you that the axe story is a ruse and that you will be hunted down as part of a game.
The gate will be locked and the only way to go is to descend down to the fort's dungeon
Collect the Keys from Kurdan's Hunters
The fort's dungeon contains plenty of traps and locked doors. Make your way inside the dungeon and kill all three of Kurdan's Hunters to get the keys to unlock the door back to the surface.
Kill Kurdan
Once you head back outside of the fort's dungeon, you will witness Kurdan killing Aleron. Speak with him and he will tell that you cannot leave the island alive and becomes hostile. Kill Kurdan and the archer, Ra'jhera the Keeneye.
Activate the Lever Behind the Locked Door in the Fort's Dungeon

Retrieve the Fort Grief Real Key from Kurdan's body. Go back to the fort's dungeon and use the key to unlock the first gate on the left. Inside the room is a lever handle that you can activate to open the main gate outside.
Exit the fort and use Kurdan's Boat to leave the island.
Return to Ursanne Loche
Return to Ursanne Loche's house in Bravil and speak with her to complete the quest.

Biography of the Wolf Queen
You will receive the Biography of the Wolf Queen, a Speechcraft skill book, upon completing this side quest.
