Get Shimmerstrike Using the Imperial City Arena Glitch
Shimmerstrike can only be obtained by using a glitch in the Arena. Start the Arena quest and defeat the first four enemies. After that, you'll face the wood elf who wields Shimmerstrike. Normally, you can't loot enemies in the Arena, but by following this guide, you'll be able to acquire Shimmerstrike.
Obtain the Skull of Corruption and a Paralyze Spell
To do this glitch you'll need the Skull of Corruption which can be obtained by doing the Vaermina Daedric Quest. You can use any Paralyze spell such as Debilitate which can be obtained from the Mage's Guild in Bravil
