The numbers on the left are the stats with no IV (0) or the lowest possible stat a Pal can have within a specified level. The red numbers on the right are the stats with max IV (100) or the highest possible stat a Pal can have. ※This table does not include bonuses from Passive Skills, Partner Skills, or any other stat boosts. |
IVs are hidden stats each Pal has for each stat that randomizes their HP, Atk, and Def to a specific range. Having 0 IV for a stat means the Pal gets a 0% bonus, while having the maximum 100 IV gives a 30% bonus to the respective stat.
For example, if two Lamballs have the same passives and buffs, the Lamball with the higher HP IV will always have a higher HP pool.
A Pal's IVs cannot be altered but can be used to influence its child's IVs through breeding. Therefore, breeding is an excellent option to pass a parent's high IV and favorable Passive Skills to obtain a Pal with the highest IVs possible with the preferred Passive Skills.

Frostallion, a Legendary Pal monster, can be found as a Field Alpha Boss on the snowy mountain region of the map in the northwest. It can be located east of the Land of Absolute Zero teleport point, is found at the coordinates -357, 508, and is at Level 50.
List of All Legendary Pals and Locations
Frostallion does not spawn in any area on the map in the overworld by itself, regardless of whether it is day or night. This Pal can be obtained by hatching Eggs produced by certain Pals or via other means.
Frostallion can be hatched from a Huge Frozen Egg.
Pal eggs can be found spread across the islands as interactable objects that can be picked up.
They can also be obtained through breeding Pals together in a Breeding Farm. Once you have an egg, place it in an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch.

|
Overworld Image | Map Image |
---|---|
There's an exploit where you can draw Frostallion's aggro by attacking it from a specific cliff, making it move to a particular spot and get stuck there, allowing you to attack it without retaliation.
The specific cliff to do the exploit is on the eastern side of the frozen lake. Attacking Frostallion from this location makes Frostallion stuck in a specific spot.
Once you attack Frostallion and it starts to chase you, it will get stuck on a location south of the cliff where it can be dealt damage from the cliff, but it won't be able to retaliate against you.
A minor inconsistency when doing the trick makes Frostallion get stuck in the wrong position or respawn back to the lake's center. When this happens, you can lure Frostallion back to the lake's center and then return to the cliff to reset the exploit.
Once you have Frostallion stuck, you can shoot Frostallion with any weapon or Pal skill that can reach it. However, we recommend inflicting the Poison and Burn status effects to drain Frostallion's HP quickly.
Since Frostallion is a very tanky Legendary Pal, Poison and Burn will be very effective as they deal a percentage of the afflicted enemy's HP as damage.
We recommend using a Poison Arrow Crossbow and a Fire Arrow Crossbow to inflict the status effects. Still, Pals that can inflict status effects can also work.
Equipment | Details |
---|---|
Rocket Launcher |
・Deals a lot of damage and knocks enemies down, stunning them and preventing them from retaliating against you. ・Be careful while reloading as it takes a while to load the next rocket. |
Assault Rifle |
・Deals a lot of damage; however, it does not stun enemies hit, unlike the Rocket Launcher. ・Do headshots for bonus damage. |
Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor |
・The Astral Mountain requires two levels of Cold resistance, so any Cold Resistant Armor should be enough to defend you against the cold. ・At night, the temperature further drops to the extreme, and three levels of cold resistance are required. Wear a Thermal Undershirt as one of your accessories to counter the extreme cold. |
Thermal Undershirt | |
Hyper Shield |
・Equip the Hyper Shield to be able to increase survivability. ・Shields regenerate quickly when not hit, making it a good option in longer fights. |
Item | Materials |

The Legendary Pals naturally have low catch rates due to their high levels. For the best chances to capture Frostallion, a Legendary Sphere is recommended.
To increase the chances of capturing Legendary Pals, you can upgrade your catch rate at Statue of Powers using Lifmunk Effigies.
Pal | Details |
---|---|
Jormuntide Ignis |
・Highest base attack Fire element Pal. ・Its Partner Skill, Stormbringer Lava Dragon, increases the player's and Jormuntide Ignis' fire elemental damage they deal while mounted. |
Blazamut |
・2nd highest base attack Fire element Pal. ・Blazamut increases the Fire elemental damage it deals with, and the player's when it's mounted due to its Partner Skill, Magma Kaiser. |
Wixen |
・Wixen is also a good choice for an active Pal as it converts the player's attack damage to Fire element with the Lord Fox Partner Skill while Wixen is the player's active Pal. ・This is the best Pal to use when doing the cliff exploit as it increases your damage output by converting all your damage to Fire element, which Frostallion is weak to. |
Kelpsea Ignis | ・While Kelpsea Ignis is in the party, its Lava Spout Partner Skill passively increases the Attack stat of the Fire Pals in the party. |
Rooby | ・While Rooby is in the party, its Tiny Spark Partner Skill passively increases the Attack stat of the Fire Pals in the party. |
Gobfin Ignis |
・Each Gobfin Ignis in the party passively increases your attack with its Angry Shark Partner Skill. ・This is a good Pal to use when doing the cliff exploit, as it passively increases your damage output while it's in your party. |
Though any Pal with good stats and Active Skills can defeat Frostallion, the Pals above are especially recommended. Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut and Wixen are the best offensive Pal options.
At the same time, Kelpsea Ignis, Rooby, and Gobfin Ignis are excellent support Pals to boost any of your Fire Pal's damage.
List of Fire Element Type Pals
The Astral Mountains reach extreme cold temperatures once it gets dark. Though it's best to fight Frostallion during the day, you may have to switch one of your accessories into a Thermal Undershirt if it ever turns to night while fighting Frostallion.
Since Frostallion is weak to the Fire element, it's best to prepare a powerful Fire Pal to battle it with. Jormuntide Ignis and Blazamut are excellent choices for an offensive Pal, and both of them can be encountered in Wildlife Sanctuaries. For those that have good weapons, such as Legendary Weapons crafted from Legendary Schematics, and have the ammo for it, Wixen is also a good option as it converts your attacks to deal with Fire element damage instead.
To create the best Fire Element Pal to fight against Frostallion, it's best to breed good passives to your desired Fire Pal and breed to pass down high IVs from the Pal parents.
Element Type Chart Matchups Explained
The Rocket Launcher is not only a powerful weapon, but it also briefly stuns enemies hit in the explosion. Having Wixen as your active Pal makes your rockets deal Fire-type damage instead, giving you a good damage boost against Frostallion.
How to Craft Rocket Launcher and Stats
Pals like Lyleen have Partner Skills that heal the player for a fixed amount. If you have a hard time surviving boss fights, bringing one to heal you in a pinch is a good idea.

Jormuntide Ignis dies really easily to Frostallion since it is also a dragon type and they are weak to ice attacks. Would definitely just recommend Blazamut as the strongest DPS.
