| Description | I must break into the Imperial Prison and kill a Dark Elf prisoner named Valen Dreth. I will receive a special bonus if I manage not to kill any guards. I can enter the Imperial Prison through the connecting sewers, which can be accessed through a locked manhole just outside the prison walls. Vicente has provided me with a key. |

Talk to Vicente Valtieri
Talk to Vicente Valtieri about the Contract. He will inform you that your next target is someone you have previously met, Valen Dreth, the Dark Elf who was imprisoned in the cell next to yours at the Imperial Prison.
He will mention that the escape route you used before has now been locked, so he will provide you with a key.
If you complete the contract without killing any prison guards, you will receive the item Scales of Pitiless Justice as a bonus reward.
Eliminate Valen Dreth

| 1 |  Head to the Imperial Prison Sewer. It is located to the northeast of the Imperial City. Use the key given to you by Vicente Valtieri to open the gate. |
| 2 |  Follow the marker towards the cells. You will need to lockpick your way through two gates with Average locks. Keep going until you arrive at the Exit to The Sanctum. Once you are inside The Sanctum, you will overhear two guards talking. Wait for them to finish their conversation and leave before proceeding. |
| 3 |  Sneak carefully as you move through the hallway toward the Door to the Imperial Subterrane; a guard facing the wall is stationed there by the left pillar. |
| 4 |  In the second room within the Imperial Subterrane, a guard will come out from across the hall. Keep yourself hidden until he passes by and walks away. Continue going further inside until you reach the cells area. |
| 5 |  When you reach the Imperial Prison, Valen Dreth and a guard are having a conversation. Wait until they finish talking and for the guard to leave before continuing on inside. Turn to your left, then go straight towards the table at the corner. Grab the two keys on top of the table, an Imperial Prison key and the key to Valen Dreth's cell. |
| 6 |  Go to Valen Dreth's cell. You can talk to him before doing the task. Open the cell door with the key you got, then kill Valen Dreth. Or you can shoot him through the bars. |
| 7 |  If you got the prison key, you can go up the stairs and exit through the main door. |
Report Back to Vicente Valtieri
Make your way back to Vicente Valtieri in the Sanctuary at Cheydinhal to complete the quest.
Scheduled For Execution: Why The Guard Won't Move?
Reload to Fix Bug
For some reason, if the guards in the Imperial Prison do not move away from their places after their conversation, or somehow suddenly died, you may have encountered a bug.
To resolve this, you will need to reload your game to a point before you have entered the area where the stuck guard is.
Ensure you create a separate save before entering each area of the prison, namely, The Sanctum, the Imperial Subterrane, and the Imperial Prison proper.

Bonus Reward: Scales of Pitiless Justice
You will receive 50 Gold, and Scales of Pitiless Justice if you managed to not kill any guards, as a reward for completing the Scheduled for Execution quest.
When the Scales of Pitiless Justice is in your inventory, it will increase your Strength, Intelligence, and Agility, but decrease your Personality.
