Obtain During The Ultimate Heist
The Ayleid Mace can be obtained by doing the Thieves Guild quest, The Ultimate Heist which will require you to go to the Old Way where you can find the Ayleid Guardians. Below details the specific acquisition method for the Ayleid Mace.
| 1 | Talk to the Ayleid Guardians |

 During The Ultimate Heist quest, approach the Ayleid Guardian you want to obtain the weapon from and talk to them. This will put them in an aggro state and they will pull out their weapon. |
|
| 2 | Become Invisible and Go to a Corner |
 Once they pull out their weapon, you should activate Invisibility and go to a corner. Wait for the Ayleid Guardian to sheathe their weapon. |
|
| 3 | Sneak Up and Cast Charm to Ayleid Guardian |
 Once they sheathe their weapon, sneak up behind the Ayleid Guardian while you are invisible and cast Charm to talk to them. After talking to them, exit the dialogue immediately |
|
| 4 | Become Invisible Again and Kill Ayleid Guardian |
 Become invisible again and kill the Ayleid Guardian from behind while sneaking using your strongest weapon. |
|
| 5 | Loot the Guardian Immediately |
 After killing the Ayleid Guardian, immediately loot their body for the Ayleid Mace. |
