Tripcasters are used to place different varieties of tripwires on the battlefield. When an enemy walks over the wire, it triggers an explosion or other type of effect depending on the ammo used.
How to Use a Tripcaster | |
---|---|
1. | Press and Hold the R2 button to aim, then realease it to place the first wire anchor. |
2. | Repeat the process to place the second wire anchor. |
3. | Lure enemies to the placed wire. |
This weapon inflicts Fire damage on enemies, which causes the Burning state. The Burning State inflicts additional damage to enemies over time. Fire elemental damage is also more effective against some enemies.
Staggerbeams are a unique type of tripwire that generate a moving energy beam once triggered that follows the enemy and deals damage over time while the Staggerbeam remains active. It will only stay active for a short time after it is tripped.
