Tripcasters are used to place different varieties of tripwires on the battlefield. When an enemy walks over the wire, it triggers an explosion or other type of effect depending on the ammo used.
How to Use a Tripcaster | |
---|---|
1. | Press and Hold the R2 button to aim, then realease it to place the first wire anchor. |
2. | Repeat the process to place the second wire anchor. |
3. | Lure enemies to the placed wire. |
This weapon can inflict both Fire damage and Shock damage on enemies. Elemental damage applies additional effects on their targets, such as dealing damage over time or making them more vulnerable to attacks. Certain types of elemental damage are also more effective against some enemies.
This weapon has a perk which increases the damage taken by enemies over time. The perk works well with the Burning state caused by Fire damage from this Tripcaster. You can increase the effectiveness of these perks by upgrading your weapon.
