Ride the Tower to the Enemy's Goal

Splatoon 3 - Ride the Tower.png
The main goal of this battle mode is to take control of the Tower so that it advances to the enemy team's goal. The Tower will move on a predetermined route to the base as long as there's one person standiing on it.

The team that manages to bring the tower to the opposing team's goal or has traveled the farthest distance wins the match!

Disembarking the Tower Stops Its Advance

Splatoon 3 - Disembark
It's important to stay on the tower so that it keeps moving. Jumping off the tower will stop it from advancing entirely and will remain in position for 5 seconds before slowly returning to the center.

The Tower will also not move if there are two players from opposing teams on top. Make sure to splat any opposing players so that the tower continues its advance!

Tower Control Tips and Tricks

Tower Control Tips and Tricks

Head to the Tower as Soon as Possible

Splatoon 3 - Get to the Tower
You'll want to get to center of the map as soon as the match starts to take control of the Tower and get as much progress on its advancement into the opposing team's territory.

At least two players should ride the tower while the remaining two should focus on inking the surrounding turf and keeping opposing players at bay.

Proactively Splat Opposing Players

Splatoon 3 - Splat Opposing Players.png
Tower Control encourages a more aggressive playstyle since teams can wrest control of the tower very easily. As a result, you'll want to proactively engage and splat opposing players to avoid getting overwhelmed.

This applies to the Tower rider as well who should provide cover fire to teammates engaging the enemy. The less opposing players are on the field, the easier it is to take the tower to the goal!

Generate Special to Break Through Enemies

Splatoon 3 - Generate Special
Specials can take out multiple players such as Ink Storm and Tenta Missiles. The team in control of the Tower will have their special gauge fill up faster, so try and take control of the tower as soon as possible!

A good strategy to break through enemy ranks easily is by using your special at the same time as your teammates to overwhelm the opposing team.

How to Use Special Weapons

Use the Super Jump to Get Back into Battle

Splatoon 3 - Gauge the Situation

Using the Super Jump is an effective way to get across the map and back into the action if you got recently splatted and there are still allies near the front lines.

Make sure to check the map though before using this move since nearby players will see where you'll land. Consider wearing gear with the Stealth Jump ability to hide your landing position from enemy players.
