Is Agent 8 in Splatoon 3?

Unfortunately, Agent 8 does not make an appearance in Splatoon 3, much to the dismay of hardcore Splatoon fans.

Several characters make their return in Splatoon 3's Story Mode, including the Squid Sisters and Cap'n Cuttlefish. Unfortunately, Agent 8 is not one of those returning charaters since she is not present in the game either as a playable character or NPC.

There has not been an official announcement from Nintendo regarding any future updates that will re-introduce Agent 8 back in the latest installment of the Splatoon series.

However, since many previous story characters have made an appearance in Splatoon 3, it stands to reason that Agent 8 may also make her return to the franchise.

Agent 8 made her debut in the Spaltoon series as the protagonist of Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion's single-player campaign. The DLC marks the point in the series when Octolings became playable characters.

In the DLC, Agent 8 is an Octoling who awakens in a dark subway platform who then investigates a mysterious underground test facility.
