The stage has a lot of gaps too - making it very easy for players to fall off the stage. With long-ranged weapons, you can ink platforms in between gaps without the fear of falling into the water.

Use the elevated platforms in the center of the stage to ink and splat enemies with your ranged weapon. You can even go to the enemy's base and ink their turf. Having a long-ranged wepaon ensures that you can splat them even when they're on a higher platform.
