Splatoon 3 automatically saves your progress at different points in the game. Read on to find out when Splatoon 3 saves, as well as how to make a new save file and make multiple saves!
Splatoon 3, like most modern games, has an auto save function. For instance, autosave is performed in online mode when entering the lobby, immediately after matching with other players, and immediately after the match ends.
When the game has saved, 'Game saved!' will appear on the lower left of the screen.
Some stages in Hero Mode have check points that you can walk into. Checkpoints are the colored, circular pads that you occasionally see in some stages.
Stepping into these checkpoints will allow you to respawn at their location after getting splatted. Stepping into checkpoints automatically saves your progress.
Splatoon 3 can only have one save data per account. However, creating a new user profile to the Nintendo Switch will allow you to create another save file.
