How to Use Splat Roller Effectively

Create paths from spawn to vantage locations. Swim in the path left behind by the Curling Bomb. Protect yourself using the Big Bubbler.

Create valuable paths from spawn to vantage locations.

Support your team by creating paths using ink from the roller. Communicate with teammates to create pathways to key vantage points which will be useful in holding the line of defense.

Swim in the path left behind by the Curling Bomb.

Use your Curling Bomb to create a large blob of ink before engaging an enemy. Since you're using a melee weapon, the inked area created by the bomb would then be used for you to swim back and retreat to safety.

When in danger while inking the enemy base, use your special to have a temporary defensive option.

You will be on the front lines often so be sure to deploy a Big Bubbler to protect yourself once enemies start shooting at you.
