All Gear Abilities and Effects
Barazushi | Emberz |
Two new Gear Brands, Barazushi and Emberz, have been added in Splatoon 3. Both of these gear brands have the new Intensify Action ability as their Common Ability.
All Gear Abilities and Effects
Certain Gear Abilities are more likely to appear in specific brands while others are less likely to appear. Take this into consideration when deciding what gear you want to purchase.
It should also be noted that you can change the Main Gear Ability of Gear by collecting Ability Chunks. Make sure to collect as many Ability Chunks as you can to fine-tune your character's Gear Abilities.
How to Add and Change Gear Abilities
There are three Gear Brands that cannot be purchased from the shop since their Gear items are obtained through other means. Grizzo Gear can only be obtained via Salmon Run, Cuttlegear is only available as rewards in Hero Mode, and Amiibo can only be obtained by scanning Amiibo.
All Gear Brands that cannot be purchased do not have common or uncommon abilities.
One exception to the last thing is the amiibo gear from callie and marie

Great guide, however, I'm curious how you collected this info. Does the game tell you this somewhere? or is this just collected from the community. Thanks
