Three new Splatoon 3 Amiibo figures are set to release on November 11, 2022 - the same day as the Pokemon Splatfest!
These Amiibo figures have the same functions as previous Splatoon series Amiibo so getting a hold of these can help you have a more pleasant experience in Splatoon 3.

Players can get exciting new gear from the new amiibo just like all previous amiibo. Their names and abilities are still unknown but they'll surely make you fresh once you wear them!
We will update this page once more info on the sets of gears are available so stay tuned!
Pre-ordering the new Splatoon 3 amiibo is currently only available in the My Nintendo Store of Australia and New Zealand, but other regions will likely make them available in soon before its official release.
If there's one thing Amiibo figures are best known at, it's their ability to reward players with bonus items and other rewards!
In Splatoon 3, scanning an Amiibo will give you special gear that can help you win Turf War battles.
Though saving Freshest Fits no longer requires you to use amiibos, which is great for players who don't own them, you can still scan your amiibo to quickly change your freshest fit!
Finally, watch your Amiibo figure come to life and snap a photo with them when you scan a Splatoon series Amiibo at Splatsville.
Strike a pose with your favorite Amiibo figure and send them to your smart device or put it in your locker!
There is a specific location in Splatsville where you can scan your Amiibo. It resembles the packaging of an Amiibo figure and has the label “Amiibo” on it. It can be founf directly behind your character after spawning into Splatsville when booting up the game.
Watch your Amiibo figures come to life and help gear you up to victory!
Just like in previous games, you can scan your favorite Amiibo figures by letting it touch the Switch's NFC Touchpoint. You can refer to the image above to know where it is on your joy-con or pro controller.
The first course of action to take when your amiibo is malfunctioning is to try rescanning it or restarting your device. Occassionally, the issue may resolve itself after a few attempts!
Some users have found that scanning their amiibo in Splatoon 2 and then returning to Splatoon 3 to rescan it fixed the issue. It may be the case that having Splatoon 2 save data on your amiibo helps you unlock some of the gear sooner.
Take note that this would mean deleting your amiibo data from Splatoon 3, including saved Freshest Fits and unlocks you already received. However, you can get the unlocks back and reset your Freshest Fits later on.
Some of the gear that you receive from the amiibo may be locked behind certain in-game requirements. If this is the case, you may need to unlock them first by playing through more of the game.
If after trying all these solutions, the amiibo still does not give you its rewards. It is possible that the amiibo itself is damaged. During these cases, you may need to either replace the amiibo or contact Nintendo Customer Support.
