In the events following the disappearance of Cap'n Cuttlefish after fighting DJ Octavio, Callie, alongside Marie and the Captain, meets Agent 3 and guides them to locate their missing grandfather.
The Callie amiibo was launched on July 8, 2016 alongside Marie's Amiibo. The amiibo unlocks a set of exclusive Hero Gear, different from what you get by completing the game's Hero Mode.

Callie, along with Marie, was part of a duo idol group called "Squid Sisters" that debuted all the way back to the original splatoon game. Out of the two, she's the outgoing type, in contrast to Marie's reserved personality.
In Splatoon 3, she's now part of the New Squidbeak Splatoon as Agent 1, helping Agent 3 find the location of their missing grandfather!
