Fires Torpedoes that Create Ink Storms

The Drizzler is a small Boss Salmonid riding an umbrella that fires torpedoes that explode and unleash Ink Storms.

While the rain itself doesn't do that much damage, it can cover a large area of turf and make navigating around the arena very difficult, and becomes very dangerous during higher hazard levels and High Tide.

Shoot Torpedoes to Stop Them

The torpedoes fired by the Drizzler are very slow, and it's possible to shoot them to prevent them from unleashing Ink Storms.

If you have a clear shot of the torpedo, try destroying it to prevent the Drizzler from inking the stage!

How to Beat Drizzler and Strategies

How to Defeat Drizzler

Attack its Body When it Flips Over

Whenever the Drizzler fires a torpedo, it flips over and leaves the Boss Salmonid prone to attacks. Once you find the Drizzler's vantage point, wait for it to shoot its torpedo and ink to splat it!

Keep in mind that despite its size, the Drizzler has above-average health compared to other Boss Salmonids so make sure to coordinate with your team!

Reflect the Torpedo to Splat It

You can also reflect the torpedo back at the Drizzler, which will instantly splat it once it hits! To do this, make sure you're firing at the torpedo's front side so to launch it back at the Drizzler!

Use a Special When it Flips Over

You can also instantly splat the Drizzler with a special, and is the recommended strategy during Wave 3 when multiple Boss Salmonids spawn. Keep in mind though that you'll still need to wait for it to flip over so you can attack the Salmonid!

Good specials to use against the Drizzler are the Booyah Bomb, Inkjet, and the Crab Tank. Consider saving these specials until Wave 3 so you can clear out Boss Salmonids like the Drizzler easily!
