To do a Super Jump, open the map with the X Button, choose the player you want to jump to with the D-Pad Buttons or by hovering your cursor over them with motion controls or the Left Control Stick, then press the A Button to jump to them!
The Squid Beakon is a type of Sub Weapon while the Big Bubbler is a Special Weapon. When placed on the arena, you can super jump to either of these spots similar to how you Super Jump to another player.
Equipping Gear with the Quick Super Jump ability will speed up how fast your character jumps to an ally, and will help you get back into the action quicker.
You can find gear with this ability in the shops around Splatsville, and you also have a chance to unlock it on your existing gear once sufficiently leveled up!
The best time to use a Super Jump is if you want to assist an ally venturing deep into the opposing team's territory.
This maneuver lets you instantly jump to your ally's position without having to go through the entire map!
The Super Jump is also useful if you're about to get overwhelmed by the enemy and want to make a tactical retreat and regroup with your allies.
Although the Super Jump lets you traverse the map easier, you shouldn't use it all the time. Opening the menu leaves you prone to getting splatted by the enemy, and you may accidentally jump to an ally getting overwhelmed by the opposing team.
Gauge and study the map before performing this maneuver and make sure the ally you're about to jump is in no danger of getting splatted by the enemy team.
