You can find the Recon Guide in Splatsville Square right beside Hotlantis.
With the Recon Guide, you'll be able to choose what game mode you want to play, and which stage you want to play on!
Recon Mode gives you 60 minutes or 1 Hour to freely roam a map alone. There will not be any other players in the map.
You can take this time to explore the different parts of the map and analyze how you can splat the different areas!
You can exit any time, and choose a different stage to learn.
All Stages: New and Returning Maps
You can use Recon Mode to learn tricks and strategies specific to different game modes.
This is a good way to familiarize yourself with other game modes, such as Splat Zones, Tower Control, Rainmaker, and Clam Blitz!
You can practice using your weapons, and learn how to use them on the stage's platforms and terrain. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of your weapons and find out which weapons work best for you in any stage you play on.
