Download the Nintendo Switch Online App Launch SplatNet 3 in the App Select the "QR Code Reader" Button Aim the Camera at the QR Code Redeem Rewards at the Lobby Terminal

Download the Nintendo Switch Online App

To scan a QR Code, you need to download the official Nintendo Switch Online App on your smartphone or tablet through the App Store(iOS) or Google Play(Android). You also need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to use this App!

Launch SplatNet 3 in the App

Once downloaded, simply open the App and choose Splatoon 3 from the list of Game-Specific Services inside the home screen to open up SplatNet 3.

Select the "QR Code Reader" Button

Inside the SplatNet 3 screen, you'll see a "QR Code Reader" button at the lower right corner of the screen. Once pressed, a prompt may pop out to ask you permission to access the camera. Allow it to proceed to the next step!

Aim the Camera at the QR Code

From there, simply aim your camera at the QR Code to scan it and you'll be able to get the reward afterward. If it doesn't work, wait a few seconds or make sure you're inside a well-lit room.

Alternatively, you can save the QR Code as an image and directly upload it to the App.

Redeem Rewards at the Lobby Terminal

Once you receive the QR Code for the item, open up your Splatoon 3 and head to the Lobby Terminal, and select "Get Stuff" to pick up your item.
