The Test Range in the Splatoon 3 lobby lets you test out your weapons and gear. Read on to learn more about the Test Range, its location, features, an how to access the Salmon Run Test Range!

Entering the lobby immediately puts you into the Test Range! The lobby is at the very top of the stairs at Splatsville Square.
Practice your aim on moving targets by shooting the moving Squid Dummies. You can also practice your mobility by shooting while moving! The Squid Dummies all register damage. This is useful for checking a weapon's damage output.
You can activate the Copy Machine by walking up to it and interacting with it. The Copy Machine is useful for testing and checking a weapon's damage output. It can also assist your training by having a target that fires back
The platforms and obstacles in the Test Range are great for learning how to get around. Training here will help you better navigate the stage terrains for when you compete against other people.
New to Splatoon 3, are Ghosts, which are online friends and teammates that appear as holograms in the Test Range.
Ghosts can appear and move around the lobby, occasionally using weapons and moving around the Test Range.

2 | Toggle to the Squid Icon on the far right |
3 | Press Clean Up. |
The Salmon Run Test Range offers much of the same perks as the lobby Test Range, with the difference of being able to practice carrying and depositing Golden Eggs.
Targets and platforms are also in this test range, where you can get to practice your aim and platforming.
You can access this Test Range when you're able to access Salmon Run at level 4.
