Splatoon 3 Hero Upgrades

Hero Upgrades are unlockable traits that upgrade your Hero Suit in Splatoon 3's Hero Mode, boosting its offenses, defense, and even upgrading your Smallfry's skills.

In order to upgrade your Hero Gear, you'll need to collect both Sardinium and Upgrade Points. Both of these can be found around different areas in Hero Mode.

Ink-Tank Capacity Up	Increasing your Ink-Tank Capacity will help you ink and splat through levels longer without needing to refill!
Suit Recovery Up	Increasing your Suit Recovery Up helps you recover your armor faster after getting splatted!
Smallfry Damage Up	Increasing your Smallfry's damage helps improve its utility and overall damage when thrown!
Better Hero Shot	Boost your weapon's fire rate to increase your overall splat damage!

You should prioritize getting the Ink-Tank Capacity Up upgrades first so that you can ink and splat through levels longer without needing to refill all the time.

In general, you'll want to get the defensive upgrades first such as Suit Recovery Up before grabbing the upgrades that will boost your offenses.
