Ink a Large Portion of the Stage

ink the area well

Frye's attacks are comprised of multiple eels, making it often very difficult to evade them. By inking a large protion of the stage, you can use swim mode to easily dodge Frye's eels and position yourself to attack. Inking the area will also help you reach Frye's cube much quicker when she is stunnedl.

focus your view on Frye

Other than the times that she charges towards you, it is not recommended to focus on Frye's cube, as it is impervious to attacks and will not move during most attack sequences. Instead focus on the eels that she unleashes so that you can effectively dodge and counterattack.

Listen to Frye's Verbal Cues

This cue will let you know when she will charge at you with her cube.

This cue will let you know that her cube has stopped spinning and you can attack her directly.

Keeping track of both Frye and her eels can be very difficult, so we recommend paying attention to Frye's verbal cues to determine the next best action. Frye will announce all of her attacks before performing them, and the two verbal cues listed above will be uttered when she plans to charge you, or is vulnerable to direct attacks.
