Using the Shell-Out Machine in Splatoon 3, also known as the Gacha Machine, rewards the player with random rewards at the cost of your cash. Read on to learn how to use the Shell-Out machine and the rewards you can get from playing it.

Head inside the Multiplayer Lobby to get started with the Shell-Out Machine. You can find it in front of the locker room beside the Crab-N-Go concession stand.

Use Your Cash to Operate

Splatoon 3 - Use Your Cash to Operate
Interact with the machine, and it should show the cost of using it. Initially, if you haven't used the Shell-Out machine within the day, it will only cost you 5,000 cash, but succeeding more than once will cost you the usual rate of 30,000 cash.

If you have money to use the machine, simply press the "Play!" button to receive a random reward.

As the cost of operating the machine is very expensive, it's recommended that you only use it when the first play of the day bonus is available to get the discounted price. Otherwise, you should prioritize purchasing other items or gear first.
