Wipeout in Splatoon 3 displays on the screen when all players in a team were splatted. Read on to find out what wipeout means, when it happens, and what to do when your team or the opposing team wipes out.
List of Contents
Wipeout happens when all players in a team were splatted by the opposite team. Once the last member of the party is splatted, the word, ‟WIPEOUT!”, appears on the screen of all players in the match, including the opposite team.
There is a high likelihood that after a wipeout, the opposing team has pushed significantly into your side of the arena since it was left defenseless for some time. Some may even be camping at your respawn point.
When this happens, cooperate with your team to slowly take back your side of the field from your enemies.
After wiping out all your enemies, their side of the field will be left defenseless. Push further into their territory along with your teammates to conquer more areas of the arena.
There may be areas on your opponent's side of the field that give them the upperhand, like high above ground or behind cover. You can use a wipeout to conquer these areas and remove their advantages.
When your enemies wipe out, they will all be coming from the same respawn point, which makes them easy to ambush. Use this time to hide and catch them by surprise.
