Sturgeon Shipyard is a returning stage in Splatoon 3 that has a lot of slopes. It features moving platforms that players can scale and a sponge-like structure that increases and decreases in size when inked.
Sturgeon Shipyard Tips |
---|
Scale the rising platforms and use them as vantage points. Ink the sponge and use it as an additional platform. |
Four platforms that rise and fall throughout the match can be used as vantage points to scout and splat enemies. You can also throw bombs from above to ink an area.
Just be careful not to fall into the pit when the platform falls back down again.
In need of a higher platform? Just ink the sponge-like square structure near your base to make it bigger. Climb on top then splat enemies trying to take over your base.
If you see your enemies doing the same thing, splat the sponge-like structure with your team's ink to shrink it.
There are plenty of areas in the stage where you can easily fall off because they lack floors. Be very careful when jumping or scaling the rising platforms so you won't fall into the abyss.
It can be quite challenging to go up and down the slopes of this stage. Enemies can be hiding on high ground while waiting to ambush you and your team.
Because of this, we recommend using bombs or any sub weapon that splats your team's ink in an area. Doing so will make a safe area for you and your team to walk on as you take on your enemies.
Main | Sub | Special | Lv. Required |
---|---|---|---|
Splat Charger | Splat Bomb | Ink Vac | 2 |
Slosher | Splat Bomb | Triple Inkstrike | 3 |
Dualie Squelchers | Splat Bomb | Wave Breaker | 8 |
Splatterscope | Splat Bomb | Ink Vac | 10 |
E-liter 4K | Ink Mine | Wave Breaker | 18 |
Hydra Splatling | Autobomb | Booyah Bomb | 20 |
For Sturgeon Shipyard, we recommend using weapons with long range and a bomb sub weapon. Take advantage of the stage's many slopes by splatting enemies from afar and using bombs to ink an area.
If chargers are challenging for you to use, you can always opt for the classic Shooters and Dualies. Sloshers are great too!
