Strategies for Glowfly Rush

Focus on Attacking Grillers and Smallfries

Splatoon 3 - Focus on Attacking Grillers and Smallfries

At the start of the wave, players not targetted by the Griller should focus on clearing out the Smallfries and attacking the Griller.

While it's possible to defeat the Griller on your own, it's best to team up with another player so you can quickly defeat these dangerous Boss Salmonids.

Lure Grillers Away from the Team

If you're the target of the Griller, avoid running towards the team and instead lure them away and in open areas where your teammates have a clearer shot of the spinning tails.

Lure Grillers to Higher Ground

Grillers can't clumb up slopes and platforms and instead will get stuck on walls, leaving them very vulnerable to getting splatted.

If you're the target player, lure the Grillers to high ground and stay where you are so your teammates have an easier time dealing with these Boss Salmonids.

Lure Grillers Away from Egg Containers

Make sure to lure Grillers away from Egg Containers. While these Boss Salmonids only target one player, their rushing attack can splat anyone caught in the way.

Luring the Grillers away from the Egg Containers prevents other players delivering Golden Eggs from getting accidentally run over by rampaging Grillers.
