Who Should Play Charger-type Weapons?

Chargers are a good choice if you:
Splatoon Advantagesprefer shooting and sniping from afar.

Splatoon Advantageshave good reflexes on your trigger finger when lining up a shot.
Chargers may not be for you if:
Splatoon Disadvantagesdislike long reload times.

Splatoon Disadvantagesprefer getting up, close, and personal in skirmishes.

How to Use Charger-Type Weapons

Holding down the NSW - zR allows you to charge up a shot that will travel greater distances ideal for sniping down enemies. An X will appear on the crosshair when a target in sight is within range. Quick presses of NSW - zR will ink a short distance ahead of you but is not recommended for combat situations.


Variations of chargers with scopes will give you a better zoomed in view of your shot whenNSW - zR is held down.
