Throwing the Curling Bomb allows you to have a path to swim in directly to any target you choose. This works epsecially well with the Ninja Squid Gear ability. Catch enemies off guard by suddenly appearing near them before they get splatted in a few direct hits.
If the stealthy approach with the Curling Bomb fails you, you also have the option of charging forward with the threatening force of the Ultra Stamp. This will help you get into a position closer to your opponents, provided they don't get splatted in your wake first.
