Symbiosis Explained
Symbiosis is a new menu in Once Human's Deviation: Survive, Collect, Preserve scenario that acts as the central hub for your deviations, letting you deploy, manage, upgrade, and view them. 1. Symbiosis Level
With enough Deviation Value, you can challenge arenas to raise your Symbiosis Level.
Symbiosis Level is your progression tier in the Deviation system. Reaching certain Deviation Values unlocks new arena challenges (like Verdant Arena and Hot Springs Arena). Beating them increases your Symbiosis Level, which raises your Deviation Capacity and the level cap for your deviations.
2. Deviation Value
Deviation Value is the combined strength score of all the deviations you've collected and registered. Every deviation you register contributes to this number. It's also the key to the progression of the main quest (Deviated Secure).
Certain thresholds of Deviation Value are required to unlock and challenge new arenas, which in turn let you increase your Symbiosis Level.
3. Secure-O-Dex Level

| 1 | Deviations can level up to 20. |
| 2 | Deviations can level up to 30 |
| 3 | Deviations can level up to 40. |
| 4 | Deviations can level up to 45. |
| 5 | Deviations can level up to 50. |
Secure-O-Dex Level dictates the maximum level your deviations can reach. It sets the growth ceiling for how strong each deviation can become. By raising your Symbiosis Level and clearing arenas, this cap increases, allowing your deviations to gain higher stats.
Secure-O-Dex Level only limits how high you can train your deviations, not what you can capture. With higher-level Binding Grenades, you can still capture deviations above your current Secure-O-Dex Level, but they'll be stuck at that cap until you raise it through Symbiosis progression.

4. Capacity
Capacity determines how many deviations you can have at your register. Increasing your Symbiosis Level boosts this limit, letting you hold and manage a larger, more powerful roster for battles, and in turn, increasing your total Deviation Value.
5. Deviation Register
The Deviation Register shows the deviations you've actively registered for use in battles, contributing to your total Deviation Value. It's separate from your full collection of deviations. Think of it as your portable Securement Unit.
To register a Deviation, select an empty slot and choose from your collection. Only registered deviations count toward your total Deviation Value, and the number you can register is limited by your Capacity.
